Frequently asked questions

Do I have to change my current email?

No. The app connects to the account you already use (Gmail, Outlook or any IMAP/SMTP server). Your address, contacts and history stay where they are; what changes is where you read them.

How do I connect an account?

Gmail uses OAuth, two clicks and no stored password. For other providers you supply host, port and credentials for IMAP (receiving) and SMTP (sending).

Can I use more than one account?

Yes. Each configured account shows up separately, and sending asks which address it should go out from.

Where are my messages stored?

Messages stay with your provider. The workspace reads and writes over IMAP/SMTP and keeps only what it needs to render the mailbox. Disconnecting the account ends the access.
